La biographie de Bartolomeo ou Baccio Delbene n'a pas encore été faite Mazzucchelli (2) est le seul à avoir donné sur lui quelques brefs renseignements. 11 va nous etre possible d'ajouter beaucoup a sa notice. Bartolomeo Delbene était fils du Florentin Nicola Delbene et de Maddalena Ridolfi. Nicola Delhene fut amené en France par Louis XII, a qui il avait rendu des services, et nommé, le 10 juin 1503, son maître d'hotel ordinaire. Francois I.
